After the great success achieved with Laser System applied to multi-head embroidery machines, GMI has developed a new model for shuttle embroidery machines.
GMI Laser GT allows to cut and engrave embroideries in any position inside the loom.
Besides, speeding up any operation and improving the quality of products, the laser opens new horizons in the field of embroidery.

STILISTA 2000 LASER DRIVER" CONTROL SOFTWARE
|GMI invented the bridge laser cut for embroidery machines and is currently the firm having the greatest number of machines installed in Italy and throughout the world. This solid experience, applied to software development, guarantees the high quality of Stilista 2000 Laser Driver, which is undoubtedly the most exhaustive and easy to use control software.|
Stilista Laser Driver can read machine files, add laser cuts and export them in the same format. You can also create new embroidery files starting from bitmap or vectorial images and write machine format or export them to multi-head machines.
GMI LaserGT Ž can work with different fabrics of different thickness, as the laser is always in focus with the fabric to cut.
In open-works, the exceeding materials is completely aspired, so that not to ruin the machine needles. Furthermore, when working with synthetic fibers, hems are welded, so that to avoid any frayings.
There is no electric or mechanical contact between the laser and the embroidery machine. The laser slides over it till its operating spot. Before proceeding with a laser cut, the machine frame moves to the cutting position and waits for the laser to start the cutting.
This shift is automatically done by the program, but for safety reason the laser start is always given by the operator.
GMI LaserGT Ž can cut applications without burning the main fabric, thanks to its precise power control system.
